Second Person May 1, This month, you are going to write a picture book. Normally this guide is only available to members, but during the month of May everyone gets free access to the guide so that you can use it to help with your challenge entry.
You can have a lot of fun with second-person point of view. You know what else is written in the second person? I bet if you looked through your bookshelf you could probably find even more examples. Share them in the comments! This blog post is written in second-person POV, did you notice?

You may only submit one entry to the challenge, so make it great! Eligibility — Any Storybird member with a Regular account can participate in our writing challenges.
Students are not eligible. Paid membership is not required but it will allow you receive beautiful printable certificates for each challenge.
Moderation — Paid membership ensures your work is reviewed within days. Otherwise, your work will be reviewed on a first-come, first serve basis and can take up to several weeks to be visible in the public library. We try to accelerate Challenge entries because of the short timeframe, but there are no guarantees.

Well, it had to happen, what with time being linear and all. We have finally arrived at the last day of Na/GloPoWriMo ! I hope you have had fun writing poetry over the course of the month, and that you’ll come back next year, when we will do it all over again, with new prompts, new featured participants, and a to-be-determined other kind of poetry . Scottish Book Trust is a national charity changing lives through reading and writing. The challenge will run from January 1, through December 31, Our book weeks will begin on Sunday; Week one will begin on Monday, January 1st.
Due date — To be eligible to be featured, your book must be submitted to moderation on or before May 24, Selected entries will be featured on the Storybird blog on June 1. You must have a Regular account to enter the challenge—Student accounts are not eligible.
Books must be published from Regular accounts to appear in the public library and to be featured on our blog.
